Planes Collide at Japanese Airport in Second Recent Incident
Two passenger planes, a Korean Air and a Cathay Pacific, collided at New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido, Japan, with the Korean Air plane carrying 276 passengers and 13 crew. The incident occurred on the ground, and no injuries were reported. Poor visibility and heavy snow in the area may have contributed to the collision, leading to flight cancellations and ongoing disruption at the airport. This comes shortly after another airplane collision at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport.
