Neon Echo, a side-scrolling roguelike game inspired by Hades, has received over 1,800 positive Steam reviews since its launch on April 20. Developed by Xinyuan Studio, the game features procedurally generated dungeons, a thumping electronic soundtrack, and three playable characters. Players choose between elemental vinyl tracks to draft abilities and chart a course through over 400 areas. The game's permanent unlock system allows players to power up for future attempts, making for an engrossing progression system.
