Search expands for vanished retired Air Force general in Albuquerque
Authorities are searching for retired Maj. Gen. Neil McCasland after he disappeared from his Albuquerque home on Feb. 27. A silver alert was issued; his phone, prescription glasses and wearables were left at the residence, while his hiking boots, wallet and a .38 revolver are missing. The FBI is assisting, and there have been no confirmed sightings or video confirming his departure. McCasland is described as 5'11", with white hair and blue eyes, and is known to hike in the Sandia foothills; investigators are asking the public to review any video from Feb. 27–28 in the Sandia mountains or nearby neighborhoods that could aid the search.
