A man in China, identified only by his last name Gu, was sentenced to six months in prison and one year of probation after he snuck onto his neighbor's chicken farm and used a flashlight to scare 1,100 chickens to death amid a feud. Gu had previously cut down his neighbor's trees without permission, and the incident caused the chickens to trample over each other trying to flee. Gu was ordered to pay his neighbor 3,000 yuan ($436) but returned a second time, causing an additional 640 chickens to die.
