Tenant Arrested for Murdering NBC Anchor's Mother Over Unpaid Rent
Shawn Conlon, a tenant who had stopped paying rent, was arrested in connection with the murder of Claudia Voight, the mother of NBC Connecticut anchor Heidi Voight. Conlon was taken into custody by the US Marshals Service and will face second-degree homicide charges in Vermont. Claudia Voight's death, initially believed to be a medical event, was later determined to be a homicide. Conlon had continued to live in Claudia Voight's home until her death. Heidi Voight expressed relief on social media following Conlon's arrest.
