The IDF named three soldiers from the Nahal Brigade's 50th Battalion who were killed by an explosive in a booby-trapped building in Rafah, Gaza. An officer and two other soldiers were seriously injured. The IDF death toll since October 7 has reached 639, with 290 in the ground offensive in Gaza.
The IDF continues to strike Gaza, with the Egoz and Nahal units eliminating terrorists, including one responsible for launching rockets on October 7. The Egoz Unit engaged in a firefight with terrorists barricaded in a building, using coordinated attacks with aircraft to eliminate them, while the Nahal Brigade identified and eliminated a terrorist entering the home of a known Hamas operative. The IDF also conducted extensive attacks against terrorists in Deir al-Balah, destroying infrastructure and weapons caches.
