
Multiple Homicides and Tragedies Strike Birmingham and Local Schools
A man accused of killing Birmingham football coach Demetrice Beverly in a domestic shooting has been granted bond, with the case still ongoing. Beverly was shot multiple times at an apartment where he was visiting a female friend, allegedly by her boyfriend, De’Corlion Robinson, who is charged with murder and unlawful possession of a machine gun conversion device. Robinson's bond was set at $150,000 for the murder charge, and he is scheduled for a preliminary hearing next month.
