A man was arrested for breaking into the Longmont Public Safety and Justice Center by breaking a window and entering the municipal courts waiting area. He took an automated external defibrillator off the wall mount and pulled the fire alarm handle in the lobby area. The suspect was arrested within two minutes of getting the 911 call and was taken to a nearby hospital to treat a cut on his hand before being taken to the Boulder County Jail.

Dallas Municipal Courts Shut Down for Entire Week

Dallas Municipal Courts will remain closed until May 30 due to a previously planned upgrade and a network outage caused by a ransomware attack. All scheduled trials, hearings, and jury duty will be postponed, and the courts cannot process any payments in person, online, or by phone. The city has not revealed whether it has paid or will pay any ransom. Dallas County courts are not affected by the closure.
