Activision Blizzard has announced the multiplayer open beta dates for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, starting from 6th to 9th September for all players. Early access for pre-order customers and Game Pass subscribers begins a week earlier, from 30th August to 4th September. The game will feature new maps, modes, and the Omnimovement system, and launches on 24th October for multiple platforms, including day-one availability on Game Pass.

Activision has released a 9-minute campaign gameplay video for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, showcasing a section of the game's first level. The multiplayer mode will be showcased on October 5 at Activision's Call of Duty Next event, with the beta starting on October 6. The game's development is being led by Sledgehammer Games, in collaboration with Infinity Ward, and Treyarch is leading the development of the Zombies mode. Modern Warfare 3 will introduce Open Combat Missions, offering players different choices for mission completion. The multiplayer mode will feature all 16 launch maps from Modern Warfare 2, which have been modernized and improved.
