Marion Man Charged with Murder After 3 Found Dead in Linn County
Police in Linn County allege that the motive behind the killing of three people and the serious injury of another was to make the crime into a movie. Luke Truesdell, 34, has been arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder. The victims died from blunt force trauma to the head caused by a metal pipe. Truesdell allegedly admitted to the crime and mentioned the movie motive. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional arrests are expected.
