Tragic Triple Homicide in Semmes Claims Lives of Mother and Two Children
Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch announced that a woman in Semmes, Alabama, killed her two young children, 2-year-old Jacob Johnson and 5-year-old Mia Johnson, before taking her own life. Autopsies revealed that the children died from drowning, with the girl also experiencing blood loss from cuts to the neck. The motive remains unclear, but evidence suggests that the mother had psychiatric issues. The woman's estranged husband, who discovered the bodies, has been cleared of any suspicion.
