FBI Joins Search for Missing Teen Sisters
The FBI's Detroit Field Office has joined the search for two Black teen sisters, Tamara Perez, 15, and Iris Perez, 14, who have been missing from their adoptive parents' home in Prudenville, Michigan since late June. The sisters have ties to Florida and Tennessee, and the FBI has shared that Iris has a star tattoo on her neck. Black families often struggle to have their missing person cases taken seriously, while cases involving missing White women and children receive more attention. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Roscommon County Sheriff's Office or the FBI.
