Long-lost British boy miraculously found alive in France after six-year disappearance
Alex Batty, a British teenager who went missing six years ago, has been found alive in France. The 17-year-old was discovered in Revel, outside of Toulouse, after running away from a "spiritual community." He provided his own name and identity to local authorities. Greater Manchester Police are working to verify his claims. Batty had been taken by his estranged mother and grandfather when he was 11 years old and was last seen in Spain. He is now in the care of social services while authorities await contact from his relatives.
