"USPS Audit Reveals Deficiencies at St. Paul Processing Center and Metro Delivery Units"

A USPS audit of the St. Paul Processing and Distribution Center and three metro delivery units in Minnesota revealed deficiencies including delayed mail, package scanning, carrier compliment, and safety and security issues. Lawmakers, including Rep. Angie Craig and Senators Amy Klobuchar and Tina Smith, had pushed for the audit after receiving complaints from constituents about delayed and missing mail. The audit found over 50,000 pieces of delayed mail at the Eagan branch and identified systemic issues in mail service reliability.
