Passenger opens airplane door mid-flight, causing costly repairs.
A passenger on an Asiana Airlines flight from Jeju to Daegu in South Korea allegedly opened the plane's emergency door while it was still in the air, causing intense wind to hit the passengers. Lee Yoon-jun, who was seated next to the passenger, recalls feeling the horror of death and subduing the man with the help of other passengers. Investigations into the incident are ongoing, and the mental state of the passenger is being looked into. None of the 200 passengers were seriously injured, but nine suffered from hyperventilation.
