Mickey Rourke Urges GoFundMe Donors to Get Refunds Amid Eviction Drama
Mickey Rourke publicly denounced a GoFundMe fundraiser set up by his manager to help him avoid eviction, saying he was not involved and urging donors to retrieve their money. The post claimed over $100,000 had been raised by “concerned strangers,” with about $90,000 still needing refunds, and his attorney was working on returning funds. His manager defended the fundraiser as legitimate and said refunds would be issued if Rourke didn’t want the money, while Rourke had previously said he would never ask fans for money and called the situation humiliating.
