Multiple Injuries Reported in Boat Fire at Massachusetts Yacht Club
Five people, including two children, were injured after a boat caught fire at the Metropolitan Yacht Club in Braintree, Massachusetts. A retired police officer used his personal boat to pull the burning vessel away from the fueling dock, preventing a potentially catastrophic situation. Two children were treated for smoke inhalation, a woman suffered minor burns, and two adults suffered potentially serious burns. The boat has been extinguished and capsized, and will be removed from the water by Towboat USA.
