Murder suspect mistakenly released from jail turns himself in
A murder suspect, Jaylan Noah Davis, who was charged with murder and other violent felonies, was mistakenly released from the Mecklenburg County Detention Center due to a clerical error. He turned himself in early Saturday morning and is being held without bond. Davis is accused of shooting and killing Arthur Mikulski on Nov. 26, 2022.
