A Delta crew member was injured by an emergency slide after the flight made a diverted landing due to mechanical issues. The emergency slide accidentally deployed inside the plane while passengers were being reboarded, and the employee was hospitalized but has since been discharged. Passengers were relocated to a secondary plane which landed at LAX later that evening.
