"LA Sports Teams Unite to Aid Maui Wildfire Victims with Generous Donations"
Twelve Los Angeles professional sports teams, including the Lakers, Dodgers, Rams, and Clippers, are joining forces to donate $450,000 to support the American Red Cross relief efforts for those affected by the wildfires in Maui. The Rams will use their preseason game against the Las Vegas Raiders to raise funds through the sale and auction of custom-made "Malama Maui" shirts and an in-game 50/50 Raffle. The sports teams have a strong connection to Hawaii, with many having played preseason games or held training camps there in the past.
