Fugitive Eric Abril Captured After Escaping Custody in Roseville's Mahany Park Shooting Case
Eric Abril, the suspect in the fatal shooting at Roseville's Mahany Park, has been taken back into custody after escaping from a hospital. He was located in the Antelope Creek ravine behind an apartment complex and was seen being led away in handcuffs. Abril had ditched his orange jail pants and was only wearing his boxers. He had been taken to the hospital for an unknown medical condition and was able to escape by defeating his restraints. Abril was initially arrested in April following the shooting, where he took two hostages and fatally shot one of them.
