Apple's Headset to Feature Magnetic Connector and USB-C Port.
The upcoming Apple AR/VR headset will require an external battery pack that attaches via a proprietary magnetic port, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman. The headset will also feature a USB-C port for data transfer. The battery pack is required for the headset to function and will provide about two hours of battery life. The headset is expected to be unveiled at WWDC in June and retail around $3000.
