Beloved Malayalam Actor Innocent Passes Away at 75.
Innocent, a popular Malayalam film actor and former Lok Sabha MP, passed away at the age of 75 due to Covid-19 complications and multiple organ failure. He had a career spanning over four decades and 500 films. Innocent was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 but beat the disease and wrote about his battle in his book 'Laughter in the Cancer Ward'. He won the 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Chalakudy Lok Sabha constituency as an independent candidate supported by the Left Democratic Front (LDF). His death has been mourned by political leaders and fans alike.
