"Top 10 U.S. Cities Where Young Residents Dream of Moving Abroad"
A survey by Preply found that Gen Z Americans, particularly in cities like Portland, Memphis, and Kansas City, are increasingly interested in moving abroad for better social welfare, cultural experiences, and less gun violence. On average, young Americans rated their likelihood of moving abroad at 3.10 out of 5, with the most desired destinations being the UK, Canada, Japan, the Netherlands, and Singapore. A significant portion, 34%, would consider living outside the U.S. indefinitely, and 66% are open to starting a family abroad.
