The Coast Guard rescued three people from the water after their boat capsized in Great Bay in Little Egg Harbor Township. The boat operator contacted the Coast Guard for help, reporting that the boat was anchored near Great Bay Marina. A Coast Guard helicopter and a commercial salvage team responded to the scene. The salvage team reported that the three occupants were clinging to the hull of the overturned boat. A rescue swimmer from the Coast Guard helicopter worked with the crew to hoist the mariners to safety. No injuries were reported.
