Engineers at the Georgia Institute of Technology have developed a breakthrough method for printing infinitesimally small metallic nanostructures using superluminescent light projection (SLP), which is faster and cheaper than conventional methods. By harnessing the power of light from superluminescent light-emitting diodes (SLEDs), the team created a scalable process that is 480 times faster and 35 times cheaper than current methods, potentially revolutionizing nanotechnology and enabling greater access to nanoscale 3D printing.
