Vermont State Troopers Rescue Girl from Icy Pond
Vermont State Police troopers Michelle Archer and Keith Cote are being praised for their heroic actions in saving an eight-year-old girl from drowning in a pond. Trooper Archer, on routine patrol, responded to the call and swiftly sprang into action, swimming into the pond to rescue the submerged child. With the help of Trooper Cote, the girl was brought to safety and taken to the hospital, making a full recovery. Despite their humble stance, both troopers are being recommended for the agency's Lifesaving Award.
