BuzzFeed's 'Hot Ones' and More Acquired by FilmRise
FilmRise has acquired the worldwide digital media rights to a library of content from BuzzFeed Studios, including past episodes of the hit YouTube series "Hot Ones." The deal includes over 1,200 hours of content, featuring shows like "BuzzFeed Unsolved: True Crime" and "Worth It." "Hot Ones," known for its celebrity guests eating increasingly spicy buffalo wings, has gained a strong following since its launch in 2015. FilmRise plans to expand the series' reach to global audiences across digital platforms.
