
Legendary Performer Shoji Tabuchi Remembered and Mourned by Branson, Mo. Music Community
The Branson, Missouri music community is mourning the loss of Shoji Tabuchi, a legendary performer and former theater owner who was inducted into the National Fiddle Hall of Fame. Tabuchi, known for his mastery of the fiddle, began his career in Japan before moving to the United States to pursue his dream of playing Bluegrass music. He opened his own theater in Branson in the 1990s and became a star in the local music scene. Despite a fire that temporarily closed his theater in 2017, Tabuchi continued to perform and was honored with his induction into the Fiddle Hall of Fame in 2020.
