Middleton Homicide Suspect Held on $1M Bond.

Jakira Anderson, a woman who complained about issues with a leased vehicle, shot and killed a Middleton used car dealership employee, Kawsu Samba, according to a criminal complaint. Anderson's cash bond was set at $1 million, and she must follow certain conditions if she posts bond. Anderson told police that she purchased the gun legally in September 2022 and said she "hasn't had a chance to register the firearm." She is set to appear in court again for a preliminary hearing on March 30.
