Indianapolis Man Cleared of Charges in Shooting of Child's Service Dog
An Indianapolis man who fatally shot a child's service dog last month won't face charges as the dog was off-leash and not fenced. The dog, a 10-year-old black Labrador retriever named Clyde, was playing with his owner when the incident occurred. The shooter told an animal control officer that he felt threatened. The Mills family has set up a GoFundMe to raise money to get Mason, their 12-year-old son who has autism, a new service dog.
