Joe 'Jellybean' Bryant, Kobe's Father, Dies at 69
Former NBA player Joe Bryant, father of the late Kobe Bryant, has died at 69 after suffering a massive stroke. Known as "Jellybean," Joe played for LaSalle and had an eight-season NBA career before playing and coaching overseas. His death comes over four years after Kobe and his granddaughter Gigi died in a helicopter crash.
