Fatal Dive: Man Dies After Jumping into Shallow Water at Texas Lake
A 34-year-old man died after diving headfirst from a 40-foot embankment into a shallow part of Lake Gladewater in Texas. Witnesses reported that the water was only about 4 feet deep. Emergency services attempted to resuscitate the victim, but he succumbed to his injuries. Alcohol is believed to have been a contributing factor in the incident.
