
Sega of America Employees Form Union Amid Industry Organizing Trend
A "supermajority" of employees at Sega of America's Irvine office have announced plans to unionise with the Communications Workers of America labour union, aiming to secure higher base pay, improved benefits, and other goals. The group, called AEGIS-CWA, consists of 144 employees across various departments and disciplines. They have filed for an election with the National Labor Relations Board and outlined their goals, including higher pay, improved benefits, opportunities for advancement, balanced workloads, and adequate staffing.
