"The Kitchen," a dystopian drama set in London and directed by Kibwe Tavares and Daniel Kaluuya, will close the 67th BFI London Film Festival. The film explores a society where social housing has been eradicated, except for a community called The Kitchen. The story follows Izi and 12-year-old Benji as they navigate a system stacked against them. The film, which marks Kaluuya's feature directorial debut, will premiere on October 15 and will be released in UK cinemas and on Netflix.
