Iowa hit by multiple tornadoes, leaving destruction and displacement in their wake.
An EF3 tornado with winds of at least 136 m.p.h. struck the area of Keota in southeast Iowa, causing widespread damage and destroying at least nine homes. No serious injuries have been reported. Governor Reynolds issued a disaster proclamation for 12 Iowa counties impacted by Friday’s severe weather, including Washington and Keokuk Counties.
