Beloved Dog Stolen at Gunpoint Reunited with Owner

A 14-year-old West Highland Terrier named Max, who was stolen at gunpoint near the Fort Totten Metro Station in Washington D.C., has been reunited with his owner. The dog was found roaming in the Kenilworth Aquatic Gardens by two individuals who recognized him from media coverage. The owner, Zaleena Ahmed, had been walking Max when a young male approached them, pointed a gun at her, and demanded the dog. Ahmed was hit with the gun before the suspect fled with Max in a dark minivan.
