Justice James Mellor ruled in the COPA v Wright trial that Craig Wright is not the creator of Bitcoin, stating that the evidence presented is overwhelming. He declared that Wright is not the author of the Bitcoin White Paper, did not operate under the pseudonym "Satoshi Nakamoto," did not create the Bitcoin System, and is not the author of the initial versions of the Bitcoin software. Further relief will be addressed in a written judgment, and the parties have been asked to seek agreement on an order following the judgment.
