Tragic Loss: High School Football Player Dies from Asthma Attack
A 17-year-old Westlake High School student and football player, Julius Poppinga, has died after experiencing breathing problems. Poppinga, who played defensive end for the school's football team, had been hospitalized and had not played or practiced since August 18. The cause of death is currently unknown. The school community and football team expressed their condolences to the Poppinga family.
