"Henderson Standoff Ends with Recovery of Multiple Weapons and Suspect's Death"
Henderson police recovered rifles and a handgun from the home of Trevor Cooper, a 31-year-old jujitsu specialist who died by suicide after a dayslong standoff. The standoff began when police attempted to serve Cooper with a warrant on charges of kidnapping, battery, and administering drugs. After exchanging fire with the SWAT team, Cooper was found deceased in the home. Documents revealed that Cooper had a history of violence, including a previous arrest for attacking a roommate, and had multiple firearms despite a protection order prohibiting him from owning any.
