Five Arrested in Lafayette Shooting Case Involving Local Judge and Wife
Five people from Lafayette and Kentucky were arrested on Jan. 22 on charges including attempted murder, conspiracy, aggravated battery, and obstruction of justice in connection with the Jan. 18 shooting of Tippecanoe County Superior Court Judge Steve Meyer and his wife Kim in their Lafayette home. The victims sustained arm and hip injuries. A multi-agency investigation involving local, state, and federal authorities led to the arrests; suspects’ names will be released once formal charges are filed.
