Teen charged with kidnapping and deadly shooting in Houston motel raid
A 17-year-old, Josiah Lamarion Jackson, has been charged with two counts of aggravated kidnapping following an FBI hostage rescue operation in Greenspoint, Houston. Jackson and an accomplice, Alberto Montes, allegedly kidnapped a man and a woman along I-10 in Waller County last weekend and held them in a motel on Highway 249. After the FBI forced entry into the motel, the kidnappers moved the hostages to a Studio 6 motel in Greenspoint, where they demanded a ransom of $3,500 for the release of the male hostage. Montes was killed and the female hostage was rescued. Jackson fled the scene but was later arrested.
