"Actors Targeted in Violent Attacks: Central Park Incidents Shake Entertainment Industry"
John Cardoza, known for his role in “Notebook” on Broadway, was robbed at gunpoint in a Harlem Dunkin’ Donuts, with the robber taking his wallet containing personal items and $9 in cash. The incident occurred around 2 p.m., and Cardoza later described the robber as a middle-aged Black man in a green camouflage hoodie and black sweatpants. He urged people to be vigilant as the weather warms up and more people are out and about. This incident came on the same day as another attack in Central Park involving actor Michael Stuhlbarg.
