Bears Put Dante Pettis on IR and Waive Joe Reed
The Chicago Bears have placed wide receiver Dante Pettis on injured reserve and waived receiver Joe Reed with an injury designation. Pettis, who caught 19 passes for 245 yards with three touchdowns last year, re-signed with the Bears in April. Reed, a fifth-round pick in 2020, joined Chicago in January after appearing in 11 games for the Los Angeles Chargers as a rookie. The Bears will conclude their preseason slate by hosting the Buffalo Bills on Saturday.
