Freddie Prinze Jr. Opens Up About Difficulties in Acting Career.
Freddie Prinze Jr. has revealed that he had a "miserable" experience filming the 1997 horror film "I Know What You Did Last Summer," citing clashes with director Jim Gillespie, who allegedly made it clear he did not want Prinze on the film and consistently singled him out during production. Prinze also claimed that the experience had a negative impact on his mental health and that he almost quit the film after nearly being injured during a stunt that broke union rules. Despite this, Prinze acknowledges that the film launched his career and led to him meeting his future wife, Sarah Michelle Geller.
