A fire that destroyed four homes in Elizabeth on Easter Sunday may have started in a house that burned down in January 2022, according to witnesses. The house at 167 Jaques Street was reportedly the origin of the blaze, which reached five alarms and was placed under control at approximately 8:50 p.m.
