Rapper Lil Poppa dies at 25 in Atlanta; cause under investigation
Rapper Lil Poppa, born Janarious Mykel Wheeler and a Jacksonville, Florida artist signed to Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group, was found dead Wednesday in Fulton County, Atlanta. He was 25, and the cause of death is pending investigation. He was known for projects like Blessed, I Guess and the Under Investigation mixtape series, and had recently shared a video tease for his single Out Of Town Bae with his one-million-strong Instagram following.
