Aspen Grove Dominates Belmont Oaks with Stunning Debut Performance
Aspen Grove, a filly sired by Triple Crown winner Justify, pulled off a 15-1 upset to win the Grade I Fasig-Tipton Belmont Oaks Invitational. Trained by James Stack and ridden by Oisin Murphy, Aspen Grove recovered from a slow start and made a strong move in the final quarter-mile to secure the victory. This marks the second Grade I win for Justify as a stallion in the past month.
