Tragic Crash Claims Life of 5-Year-Old Girl in Turin
A five-year-old girl was killed and several others injured after an Italian military jet crashed during an acrobatic exercise in Turin. The pilot managed to eject before impact, while the girl's nine-year-old brother was seriously hurt and their parents suffered burns. The crash may have been caused by a collision with a flock of birds, leading to engine failure. The jet was part of the Frecce Tricolori demonstration team, and an event marking 100 years of the Italian air force has been canceled as a result.
