Double amputee ex-soldier makes history with Everest summit
Hari Budha Magar, a former soldier in the Gurkha regiment who lost both his legs in Afghanistan, has become the first double above-the-knee amputee to reach the summit of Mount Everest. Hari, 43, took on the challenge to inspire others and change perceptions of disability. He reached the summit on Friday, after 11 days of climbing, and said that with the right mindset, anything is possible.
